Stavroula Pagoni

Was born on the 26th of June in 1986 in the city of Ioannina, Greece.

She spend her early childhood in the village of Scarpari, in the municipality of Central Tzoumerka, and later at the age of 5 she moved with her family to Athens where she lived and studied.

Growing up she developed a keen interest in sports, arts, and literature. With a high sense of responsibility, from very early she supported the protection of environment as well as the preservation of customs and traditions by taking part in countless outdoor voluntary actions.

Stavroula attended a number of multiyear courses with a focus on psychology. Aiming for practices relevant with the impact of nature on humans, she left Athens in 2016 and found her way back to Epirus where she lives and works today.

She lives in the beautiful Theodoriana village in the Municipality of Central Tzoumerka. As a working mother, she is professionally involved in the field of alternative tourism, maintaining a busy outdoor activities company with her husband.

From 2019 she has been working as an active member of the “Terra Pindus” non profit company undertaking a variety of coordinating and adminstrative roles.

Education

2003 - 2007: Bachelor in Management and Economics

2008-2012: Bachelor of Psychology (B.A.) American College of Greece Deree College, Athens.

Thesis: Ecopsychology, Nature in the "service" of psychology.

Member of the European Society of Ecopsychology based in Neuchatel, Switzerland.

2012-2013: Training in specialized intervention methods (PECS communication system, TEACCH program, MAKATON sign system) University of Macedonia.

2018: Training in THETA HEALING method

2018-2019: Training in Applied Ecopsychology / Eco-coordinator of the relationship with nature.
