Voluntary trail maintenance action at Haliki Aspropotamos 17-20 & 24-27 July
Voluntary call for the maintenance of trails and the protection of the valley of Aspropotamos!
Open call for 2 four-day volunteer projects to restore the traditional trails that once connected Haliki with the neighboring villages of Kalarrytes - Syrrakos and Anilios.
The trails have remained out of use for the past decades and their deterioration is an invitation that we as a generation must address, preserving the polar capital of the wider area of Lakkos and the valley of Aspropotamos.
Key movement axes of the Pindus herders and cyclists, which have served mobile grazing and trade in Vlach villages for centuries, are being revived for the composition of the great trail crossing the mountain range, Pindus Trail.
