After this experience, it is time to congratulate the Wheeling2Help volunteer team and the volunteers from the village of Sykia, for their valuable help in improving the passability of one more kilometer of the development of the day crossing trail: Sykia - Kato Musounitsa - Athanasios Diakos, which had been pending completion.
We spent a fantastic and dynamic 3 days with the international team of volunteers from Greece, France, Spain, Cyprus, Cyprus, Mexico and Jordan. So people who share common concerns and dreams, we coordinated with the environment and the result was magical!
The children contributed significantly to the improvement of the passability of the crossing path in the valley of the Mornos River, which now connects the villages of Sykia, Lower Moussounitsa and Athanasios Diakos (Upper Moussounitsa) by extension, Giona and Vardousia.
Given the years of effort to restore the time-forgotten paths that are being revived without funds and drumbeat, the volunteer group`s stone was very important beyond brilliant and there is more to come!
